Halters around our place were continually walking off, had buckles or snaps that were so rusty that they were no longer workable, were the wrong size for the head that we were trying to fit, or just flat broke when a young inexperienced horse or very old stubborn, spoiled rotten broodmare (we have one of these) pulled back on them, so we decided to try rope halters. Our Rope Goat Halters
Because we have milk goats, we thought we would try our hand at making goat halters and were very pleased with the results. Much safer than dog collars or neck chains.

Custom Fit Halters
We have made many custom fit horse and goat rope halters, even halters for Dexter Cattle and horse halters with side pulls. If you send me your measurements at the time you make your order, I will be happy to custom make your halter.
Just order a halter size that is close to the size that you need, then send me a note with these two measurements:
1. Measure snuggly around the nose at the point where you want the noseband to fit. (I will add two inches to this measurement)
2. Measure the side of the head from 2 inches below the ear to the place where the side noseband knot will sit.
